FREE CONVEYOR DESIGN CALCULATORS
Quick checks for everyday conveyor design
Browser-based engineering calculators for selecting and sizing belt conveyors. All formulas follow CEMA, DIN 22101, and ISO 5048 methodology. Every input accepts metric or imperial units; every result is shown in both. No sign-up, no email gate.

About these calculators
Each calculator implements an industry-standard formula in transparent JavaScript that runs entirely in your browser — no server round-trip, no input logging, no commercial data exposed. The formula and assumptions are documented next to every result so you can verify the math.
Defaults reflect real conveyor design: a 1000 mm head pulley driven through a 25:1 gearbox, 50 Hz motor at 1500 RPM, 100 m centre distance, 800 t/h capacity. Adjust inputs as your installation requires.
Accuracy targets ±10 % for steady-state design. Long overland conveyors, low-temperature service, dynamic start-up analysis, and any DIN 22101 / ISO 5048 deliverable still require a full engineering review.
